Choosing to add vegan shoes to your closet is an action that shows respect for the world around us. Did you know that most of the shoes we wear are made from animal materials? Of course, it involves countless steps, but still: the origin is the same. So, at SAOLA, we've decided not to participate in these actions against animals. What's more, being "vegan" doesn't prevent our eco-friendly shoes from being lightweight and durable, even if you use them every day, we promise!
Designed in Annecy and tested in real conditions , The ethical shoes we manufacture meet very strict quality requirements and we leave nothing to chance! We are assured that having a minimal environmental footprint for maximum comfort is possible.

Why choose vegan shoes to complete your wardrobe?
Because we were tired of the smell of wet leather after a rainy day and in addition to doing without it, we are replacing it with as many recycled materials as possible. Goodbye leather ! 👋🏿
We're not going to hide it from you, making vegan shoes was complex because we had to question everything, find environmentally friendly materials that didn't come from animals in any way , and on top of that, find factories that would support us in this crazy project. It wasn't easy, but we succeeded with flying colors! It is with a more responsible and environmentally friendly approach that SAOLA is committed every day to making vegan shoes using bad algae, recycled plastic bottles and even cork !
